Women of Dundee – our changing face

Like all major cities, Dundee is a melting pot. Our eclectic mix of communities is literally changing the face of Dundonians. Our city is undergoing unprecedented redevelopment and the world’s eyes are upon us.
We are proud to be a sponsor of this year’s Dundee International Women Centre’s (DIWC) annual “Bite & Blether” luncheon for a second year. During last year’s event 130 women from all ethnicities came together to celebrate multicultural women living in Dundee. This year’s event at the Old Steeple will include talks from women who have flourished from the support received at the centre, and takes a candid look at the challenges they have overcome.
The ancient proverb: “Behind every great man there is a great woman” is true for many Dundonians, especially those that have relocated from another country. DIWC welcomes women and girls from over 80 countries to help them achieve their personal goals, reach their full potential and proposer in their community. Thorntons Investment Management is proud to show its support.
