Thorntons Investments named ‘Best AIM Portfolio Service’ runner-up at the Growth Investors 2018 Awards.
Thorntons Investments celebrated success at the Growth Investors 2018 Awards at the Royal Lancaster in London.
We were named runner-up in the highly coveted award for Best AIM Portfolio Service.
The Best AIM Portfolio Service was a debut category at this year’s Growth Investor Awards. The award recognises tax-efficient investment managers who champion AIM with advisers and investors and can demonstrate both outstanding performance and a real commitment to the market. The judges considered how the portfolio has performed against its stated objectives and its peers, how the capital has been deployed and what activity the fund manager has undertaken to both promote AIM and engage with advisers.
In finishing a very close second, Thorntons Investments won plaudits from the judges for its highly credible performance and impressive track record, as well as its distinctive company-selection process.
Gary Butcher, CEO of sponsor Exact Financial Systems, presented the award on 7 November at a black-tie gala dinner for over 450 movers and shakers from the UK’s vibrant SME investment community.
