Ecologi
At Thorntons Investments we recognise the need to do more to reduce our carbon footprint and are exploring ways to lower emissions and promote sustainability in the workplace.
As a first step we have chosen to sponsor global climate action projects through Ecologi by making regular donations on behalf of our employees.
Through planting projects carried out by Eden Reforestation, we are planting native and diverse trees in Madagascar, Mozambique and Nicaragua. This helps to support communities and reduce poverty by employing local workers. We also fund climate projects including renewable energy generation, forest protection, and community initiatives such as providing access to clean water.
