Being comfortable with the uncomfortable

Being comfortable with the uncomfortable

Last week Emily Loudon chaired the Careers in Finance Panel at University of Edinburgh Business School, held in partnership with The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI).

The event brought together professionals from a range of roles across the finance sector to share experiences and practical advice.

The key messages that came out of those discussions was “being comfortable with the uncomfortable” and “being authentically you.”

Huge thanks to Mhari McIntyre, and Colin Anderson for organising this event, and to fellow panellists Sophie Conlon, Gordon Willmott, Gail Thomson ACSI, CCBI, Chris Paine, and Katie Brown.
